Il Sentiero del Viandante è un trekking che ripercorre le antiche vie che da Milano conducevano oltre le Alpi . Corre parallelo a "quel ramo del Lago di Como" attraverso una moltitudine di fantastici ambienti rurali e naturali, facendoci assaporare momenti di vita passata e antiche tradizioni storiche e culturali.
From Abbadia to Colico, several days immersed in the magnificent scenery of Lake Como, enjoying, as well as the great views, even the delicacies of local cuisine. A trekking never excessively challenging to enjoy from the first to the last step. Arrival of the participants in the same day with own means in the town of Dervio. Accommodation in the beb & breakfast reserved. Day for a personal excursion. In the afternoon transfer by car to Bellano. At 17.00 private boat ride lasting 1 hour of the villas of the Lake center. Return to the pier of Bellano, at 18.30 aperitif strengthened on the lakeside of Bellano including: Bresaola valtellinese, Crostone di polenta con missoltino , Formaggio primo sale e latteria di Chiuro , Stuffed pumpkin flowers , Salmon trout slice in green sauce , Risotto with fresh goat cheese and aromatic herbs , Panna cotta with soft berries, Coffee , ½ mineral water, White or red wine ¼ per person. Return to Dervio by own means. Overnight at the bed & breakfast.

DERVIO - COLICO

At 09.30 we will cross the village upstream, arriving at the road that leads to Vestreno with a track of an old step mule track that goes up in the direction of the town of Castello. The itinerary continues smoothly until you reach the hamlet of Corenno Plinio, with its castle and the medieval village that is definitely worth visiting. After Corenno, go up the mule track that passes in the hamlets of Torchiedo and Panico and reaching Mondonico, upstream of the village of Dorio. The route is now spectacular and the mule track quickly gains altitude up to the church of San Rocco in an extraordinarily panoramic position. 12.30 packed lunch The path now from S. Rocco goes north east, crossing at high above the pond of Piona, and continues on dirt road and descends, facing steep hairpin bends, to the village Posallo. First on a dirt road, then on paved roads the route leads to the hamlet of Robustello from where you descend towards the village of Colico, until you reach the railway station where you will take the train to return to Dervio.
Breakfast at the Bed & Breakfast, delivery of the packed Lunch. Transfer by train to Varenna. Meeting with the guide and departure for the second stage of the Sentiero del Viandante.
VARENNA - DERVIO

09.30 from Varenna we will go up towards Vezio to intercept the path that will lead us north and towards Bellano. Once descended to Bellano we will pass by the famous Orrido, whose natural gorge was formed 15 million years ago, due to the erosion of the waters of the Pioverna torrent that, carving the bottom of the valley excavated an increasingly narrow and deep groove that from Taceno reaches the Lario. A unique natural monument. 12.30 packed lunch The second part of the excursion resumes with a decisive climb that will take us first to Ombriaco and then to the Sanctuary of Madonna delle Lacrime. From this point you descend towards Dervio and the view is very open towards the lake. This is one of the best stretches of the entire Sentiero del Viandante with regard to the view towards Lake Como. Arrived in Dervio we can take a walk along the beautiful lake, return to the bed & breakfast and end of services.
