Day 1: Varenna and the charm of the lake
The day begins with a self-guided visit to Villa Monastero, an elegant historic residence overlooking the lake, famous for its splendid botanical gardens and unique panoramic views.
Next you’ll head up from Varenna to the picturesque Castello di Vezio, an ancient medieval fortress overlooking the centre of the lake, offering a spectacular view of Bellagio.
In the afternoon, a wine tasting experience at a wine bar in Varenna that include: a selection of three glasses of regional wines (a sparkling, a white and a red), 500ml of water accompanied by breadsticks and olives.
A perfect moment to savour the aromas and flavours of the region in a relaxed and authentic atmosphere.
Day two: Bellagio and Tremezzina
The second day continues with a self-guided visit to the wonderful Gardens of Villa Melzi d'Eril, a refined botanical complex overlooking the lake, ideal for a stroll immersed in nature and elegance.
Included in the package is a rountrip ticket on the public boat for Bellagio - Tremezzo ride, to visit the beautiful Villa Carlotta and experience the lake from a unique perspective, admiring its most picturesque landscapes directly from the water.
This is followed by a visit to Villa Carlotta, one of Lake Como’s most famous villas, renowned for its artistic masterpieces and spectacular botanical gardens.
