DIFFICULTY: E/EE - Experienced Hikers. You must be accustomed to walking for several hours on uneven terrain, with some sections equipped with chains and exposed.

ITINERARY DESCRIPTION: Departing from the Erna cable car station, we'll begin our circular hike, which will hug the crests of Resegone. Numerous fun and scenic sections will take us up the mountain's peaks. Once we reach the Azzoni refuge and the highest peak, Punta Cermenati, we'll have a chance to catch our breath and admire the beauty of the mountains surrounding Lake Como. Unique views reminiscent of the distant Dolomites, which we'll rediscover as we retrace our steps back to the cable car.

Departure from the Erna cable car station to begin our circular route that will take us along the ridges of Resegone. Numerous enjoyable and scenic passages will take us to the peaks that make up this mountain. Once we arrive near the Azzoni refuge and the highest peak, Punta Cermenati, we will have the opportunity to catch our breath while admiring the beauty of the mountains around Lake Como. These unique views are reminiscent of the distant Dolomites, which we will rediscover as we return to the ascent route back to the cable car.
